Inpainting Urns

We were brought this beautiful urn with some missing areas of paint that had been etched away by an unknown acidic substance.

After cleaning the areas of missing surface paint, they were in-painted and spot varnished to match the sheen of the original glaze.

Our Gamblin conservation paints were a perfect match for this project. The client was very excited with the results and so were we!
