Family Heirloom Saved

This painting came to us severely damaged by vandals. The piece is very sentimental to the family and we knew it would be quite a challenge but here at Fogg Art Restoration we love a challenge!

We began by cleaning and reducing the varnish, the piece was archivally mounted to board. After the canvas was stabilized we filled the damaged areas and inpainted the areas of lost paint.

We were very excited with the final outcome and so happy that the family was able to hang their treasured heirloom once again.
