19th Century needlework tapestry

and its original custom crafted frame

with historical significance.

Fogg Art Restoration conserved and restored the frame.

The frame was cleaned, rebuilt and the structure strengthened. Missing ornament was

recreated and replaced.

The surface finish and patina was recreated

with layers of mica powders and 22k gold leaf.
